Financial Systems Analyst

Full-Time, Permanent Canada Corporate Accounting Systems

Traveltical Inc. is hiring a Financial Systems Analyst to plan, administer, and optimize corporate accounting systems for our business clients. This role focuses on analyzing financial records, setting up computerized accounting frameworks, reviewing internal financial controls, and utilizing automated accounting software to improve client financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Accounting System Setup & Administration: Plan, configure, and administer computerized general ledger systems, charts of accounts, and financial recording frameworks tailored to client corporate structures.
  • Financial Statement Preparation & Review: Examine ledger entries, trial balances, and operational accounting records to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for corporate clients.
  • Internal Controls & Variance Analysis: Develop, test, and maintain internal control procedures. Conduct detailed variance and cash flow analyses on client reports to identify operational inefficiencies and financial discrepancies.
  • Financial Workflow & Automation Analysis: Evaluate client accounting processes (AP/AR, payroll, monthly reconciliations) and map operational requirements to integrate automated cloud accounting platforms and financial software tools.
  • Data Verification & System Migration: Analyze, reconcile, and validate legacy accounting records and journal entries to ensure smooth data migration into client financial databases without compromising accounting integrity.
  • Internal Financial Advisory & Reporting: Prepare financial reports and consult with client executive management to deliver actionable financial, cost-management, and operational insights.

Employment Requirements

  • Education: Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized university.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, or bookkeeping.
  • Licensing: No CPA designation required. This is a corporate systems and financial advisory role that does not involve signing public audit opinion letters or public attestation.

Technical & Functional Competencies

  • Core Accounting: Deep knowledge of double-entry accounting principles, ledger reconciliation, variance analysis, and internal control frameworks.
  • Financial Software Systems: Demonstrated practical experience using ERPs and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Data & Financial Modelling: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, financial functions, complex formulas) for data cleanup and financial reporting.

DevOps Engineer

Full-Time, Permanent Canada Platform & Infrastructure

Build and operate the cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines behind our clients' automated accounting ecosystems — fast, secure, and repeatable.

What you'll do

  • Design and run Kubernetes platforms and GitOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure as code across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Harden security & compliance around sensitive financial data.
  • Keep client systems online during critical financial periods.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform in production.
  • Scripting in Bash or Python; CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Argo CD.

Nice to have: experience running GPU infrastructure or cost-optimizing cloud workloads.

Site Reliability Engineer

Full-Time, Permanent Canada Reliability & Operations

  • Define and track SLOs and error budgets for client financial platforms.
  • Build observability with metrics, logging, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Plan capacity and tune performance ahead of peak accounting periods.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in SRE, operations, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and on-call experience.
  • Scripting in Python or Go; observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana).

Nice to have: experience supporting financial or other compliance-sensitive systems.

Full-Time, Permanent Canada AI & Automation

Build the bespoke AI systems at the heart of what we do — models and pipelines that automate AP/AR, detect anomalies, and generate intelligent financial reports.

What you'll do

  • Build and integrate ML models for reconciliation, anomaly detection, and forecasting.
  • Design document-processing and workflow-automation pipelines with LLMs.
  • Ship real-time analytics and intelligent reporting for finance teams.
  • Work with our accounting consultants to turn client workflows into automated systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in ML or AI engineering.
  • Python and a modern ML stack (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience shipping LLM-powered features or data pipelines to production.

Nice to have: exposure to accounting data, ERPs, or document-heavy workflows.
